Hands-on Training for a High-Demand Career

Skilled welders are in demand across the state and nation. The Academy at Goodwill offers an in-person welding certification program designed to equip aspiring welders with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career. This program focuses on the safe and proper use of welding machines, torches, and essential hand tools used in the welding process. If you have an interest in welding and some basic experience, this course is the perfect next step toward a professional welding career.

Class Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: Regular classes

• Friday: Make-up sessions or extra practice opportunities

• Time Slots:

  • Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Once enrolled in a session, students must remain in their designated time slot for the entire program.

Your tuition covers:
✅ In-Class and In-Shop Instruction Averaging 192 Hours
✅ Access to Welding Lab Equipment
✅ Certifications in FCAW (Little Rock) or 3G - GMAW (NWA)

✅ Steel Toe Boots
✅ Industrial Truck Operator Certification

Cost Details & Payment Options:

The program costs a total of $3,775.

1. You may make your payment in full.

2. Pay only the registration fee and make payments as you go at GoodwillAR.org/payments.

3. We encourage you to apply to your local WIOA office or any other outside source for tuition assistance.
