Learn life-saving skills with American Heart Association (AHA) certified CPR, AED, and First Aid courses offered through The Academy at Goodwill. Our experienced instructors provide hands-on, face-to-face training designed to prepare you for real-life emergencies — whether you’re a healthcare professional, teacher, caregiver, or community member.

We currently offer two AHA certification options:

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Designed for healthcare providers and professional rescuers. This course covers:

·      High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

·      Use of an AED (automated external defibrillator)

·      Team dynamics in resuscitation

·      Bag-mask ventilation and choking relief

Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid

Ideal for the general public, workplace responders, and those with limited or no medical training. This course teaches:

·      Adult, child, and infant CPR

·      Use of an AED

·      Basic first aid (bleeding, burns, allergic reactions, etc.)

·      Course Information

Format: 100% instructor-led, hands-on classroom training

Duration: Approximately 3 to 4 hours

Certification: Participants receive an official AHA eCard, valid for two years
